2018 Leonard Bernstein Award recipient (and CBMF audience favorite), violinist Charles Yang, returns to Crested Butte to perform Bernstein’s Serenade, one of the most brilliant and virtuosic works in the violin concerto repertoire. Also on the program is a stunningly beautiful new work by ascending young composer Jessie Montgomery. And, Mozart’s powerful Symphony No. 40 (one of only two Mozart symphonies in a minor key) will close this concert that’s sure to be a highlight of the summer!
