Willy Street Chamber Players: Summer Series 1: Harp and Strings

WSCP is back, and there’s nothing like live music!
Join us for a lovely and celebratory evening in Orton Park located in the heart of the vibrant Willy Street neighborhood. Let the beautiful sounds of harp and strings mingled with chirping birds wash over you while you relax in our provided seating. Local all-star harpist Johanna Wienholts will stun you with the versatility of this amazing instrument!
This classic WSCP program has something for everyone: from the magical tone kaleidoscope of Debussy to the energetic rhythm of William Grant Still to the rich soaring tones of Brahms. Harp lovers: come one, come all! Music will be lightly amplified. Seating is first-come, first-served within each section. Alcohol is prohibited at this event.
After the approximately 90-minute 6pm concert, you’ll still have time to enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, or take a short one-block walk to Lake Monona to watch the sunset.
